Erin Andrews made feelings clear on jibes from internet troll

Erin Andrews was not afraid to respond to a nasty message from an online troll after they took a shot at her on social media.
The FOX sideline reporter has been in her role for over a decade now, emerging as one of the more beloved personalities in her field. Andrews has covered a number of Super Bowls and has her own podcast with FOX colleague Charissa Thompson.
Andrews responded to one message in particular that had criticized not just her, but also her colleagues during the 2024 NFL season in a game between the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The game was played in sweltering hot conditions, with temperatures almost climbing to 100 degrees at one point, with one fan commenting on Andrews’ ‘glow’.
Speaking on the ‘Calm Down’ podcast with Thompson, Andrews said: “Somebody said, ‘Erin Andrews, you look so great! You have this glow. What are you using?’
“I responded, ‘It’s called sweat.’ We were outside in 90-degree heat for four hours. I replied and said, ‘It’s called sweat, and I need a shower.’ Then some jerk commented, ‘It’s hot flashes.'”
“Shut the – shut up! It’s outside for five hours, enough!” Thompson responded: “Don’t worry about those losers, you just keep doing you.”
Thompson added: “People that try and poke Erin and I on stuff, every now and then we’ll respond, just because it’s just like, we had enough… But for every 100 bad comments we may respond to one.”
Andrews had first rose to prominence while with ESPN in 2004, before joining FOX eight years later in 2012 and becoming a sideline reporter in 2014.
Andrews and Thompson had both been out of contract with FOX this year, but had believed to sign new deals to remain for several years beyond the 2025 NFL season.
