Rangers misfit Nedim Bajrami insists he is not thinking about leaving Ibrox in January – despite claims from Albania boss Sylvinho.
The playmaker came off the bench for his country to play a starring role in the win over Andorra that kept his side second in Group K behind England.
Before the 26-year-old helped his side take a step closer to their first ever World Cup finals, Sylvinho insisted that Bajrami is ‘not satisfied’ with how things are going at Ibrox.
Bajrami has been completely overlooked this season by both axed former boss Russell Martin and new manager Danny Rohl.
He has started just one game this term – a League Cup tie against Alloa, where he scored and hasn’t featured at all for Rangers since he came on as a late sub in Martin’s last game as boss at Falkirk.
He was also omitted from Rangers’ Europa League squad after dropping out the plans.
Bajrami – who signed for the Glasgow giants for £3.4million from Sassuolo back in 2024 – has also not played a single minute since Rohl was appointed with alternative options explored by the German.
Asked about the prospect of a move in the winter window, defiant Bajrami said: “I’m at Rangers, I’m fully focused there. I hope after the national team I can play and be given a chance. I’m in shape.”
Pressed on the season in the Premiership – where the Light Blues are languishing in fourth, he went on: “Strange championship in Scotland? That’s how football is.”

He also hinted that he shares the mindset of new gaffer Rohl – who has declared that every player is vital even if they are not starting every game.
Bajrami said about losing his starting spot for Albania: “Staying on the bench? I believe that every player will play, it is difficult, but football is a moment. 10 or 20 minutes, you can make the difference.
“Today we saw it on the field, we got the 3 points on our way to the World Cup.”
