A source told Page Six the pair have “become really close again” since he released the book.

And while the relationship isn’t a rekindled romance, “it’s been relaxing for him because he can totally be himself, and he also trusts her because she’s the only person in 40 years that didn’t f–k him over,” they said.

The reunited pals were at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, over the weekend, where Sheen performed his “Alive On Stage” show.

He also planted Fox in the crowd as part of the audience Q&A.

When Fox asked if he saw himself going back to more serious roles after conquering comedy, Sheen replied he wants to do a little bit of both before flipping the question to her.

“What would you like to see me do? Don’t say you’d like to see me in your hotel room later,” he said.

A blushing Fox replied, “We’ve done that.”

“And we did it so well,” Sheen shot back.

Sheen introduced Fox to the crowd as “Dolly from the book.”

(It’s unclear if he went into Fox’s funny Bill Clinton connection from the tome, but he did tell the crowd his “very special” friend “lives up to both sides of her name.”)

Meanwhile, Fox described Sheen as her “first love” and told us, “it’s so great to see Charlie back to being the human being I fell in love with.”

“That was my first love, and to see him so strong, and really focused… and most of all, being kind to himself. He was so self-destructive, and it was hard to watch,” Fox added.

Fox posted a photo of the pair from the evening on social media, and added the song, “Wild Thing,” a nod to Sheen’s “Major League” character.

She captioned the pic: “Caught in the act of being friends for life.”

Sheen replied, “1987 never looked better!”
