Tracking another round of rain this week for Phoenix area

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A cool evening is ahead with overnight lows dropping into the upper 50s. Monday will be a nice fall day with highs in the low 70s. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Monday night, especially after 8 p.m. and into the overnight hours.
There is a 60% chance of rain on Tuesday, which is why Tuesday is a First Alert day. There will be a 40% to 50% chance of rain during the Tuesday overnight hours, with a 40% chance on Wednesday. Both Tuesday and Wednesday will keep their cool with highs only in the mid to upper 60s.
Highs will stay in the low 60s on Thursday, followed by highs in the mid-60s on Friday. Another system may move through on Friday, giving us a 20% chance of rain. Next weekend looks nice with mostly sunny skies and highs near 70.
In the high country, a few flurries reached 7000 feet today, but most of the snow was above 8,000 feet. Arizona Snowbowl picked up 3″ over the past 24 hours. For most of the high country, a few isolated showers and storms will taper off this evening, followed by a brief break on Monday.
Monday night through Thursday, another round of showers and thunderstorms will move in. Snow levels will start around 8,000 feet Monday night, but then likely drop to 6,000 to 7,000 feet west of the I-17 corridor. From Monday night through Thursday, areas above 7,000 feet could see 2-4″ of snow, with isolated amounts up to 6″. These amounts will likely change as we receive new data.
