Ken Barlow is forecasting a bit of rain and snow tonight

Good Monday morning!

A cloudy day is on the way today with just a bit of sunshine from time to time.

We can expect a mix of rain and snow to develop this evening toward 9pm with the mix likely changing to all snow overnight and early Tuesday morning.

The most snow will fall across the south metro with places such as Chaska, Shakopee, Burnsville and points south possibly seeing up to an inch of wet snow by Tuesday morning.

The rest of the Twin Cities may see a coating to ½”. A few slick spots are possible by the early Tuesday commute. The least amount of snow will be across the north metro with not much more than a coating possible.

The light snow will end early on Tuesday, and the rest of the week will be very quiet.

Temperatures will slowly warm into the middle to upper 40’s by the end of the week and this weekend.

Have a great day!
