One thing’s for sure, the 23-year-old is going to become a whole lot more mainstream as he moves away from online videos and onto television screens.

For those not so familiar with Angry Ginge, we take a look at his most controversial moments so far:

HERE I COME

He was hanging out with fellow online stars Chazza and SamHam on practice day when Chazza – aka Charlie Clark – tried to squeeze inside the cockpit of a classic Formula One car on display at the race track.

The trio were arrested by Northamptonshire Police on suspicion of causing £30,000 of criminal damage but were later released without charge.

Ginge was kept in a cell overnight and said afterwards: “I’m genuinely traumatised.”

The trio were banned from attending the rest of the weekend after being slapped with a trespass notice for “antisocial behaviour”.

Ginge left his mark on the field when he lined up against some all time great footballers in this year’s charity Soccer Aid match.

The Salford lad represented England and had a big game playing at centre back.

His defining contribution was a tough tackle on Argentinian terrier Carlos Tevez, 41, formerly of Manchester United, while the game was poised at 4-4.

It left a gash on his own leg and some strong words were exchanged on and off the field.

Writing online after the match, Ginge said: “Cheers Tevez, t***”

Intent on riling the retired ace, Ginge changed the lyrics to The Cranberries’ Zombie in an online stream, singing: “In your head, in your head, Tevez, Tevez, Tevez-ez-ez, I’m in your head, in your head, Tevez, Tevez, Tevez-ez-ez.”

However, acknowledging Tevez’s supreme performance for the Rest of the World in their hard fought 5-4 victory, he added: “I will be honest, he did score four.”

WILD CELEBRATION

Baller League manager Ginge has form for winding up footy pros.

In another headline making moment this year, he couldn’t help but mock sidelined Tottenham star James Maddison as his beloved Manchester United equalised with Spurs in the final minute of injury time.

He leapt to his feet beside injured midfielder Maddison and celebrated wildly, even filming gutted Maddison’s reaction, which prompted the sports star to push the phone away from his face.

It was all water under the bridge after the full-time whistle though, as Maddison extended a handshake to his rival supporter.

The pair’s association goes back almost two years to when they collaborated on a “dream 5-a-side” video for EA FC mobile.

INFLUENCER BATTLE

There’s no denying Ginge’s star is on the rise and he’s hot property after a bumper 2025.

I’m A Celeb is the icing on the cake but not everyone is happy – particularly rival influencers.

The Express reported: “It’s turned into an influencer war every single year now.

“There are some really big names in that space who have been trying to get into the jungle for ages, and they feel ITV keep ignoring them.

“First it was GK Barry last year, now it’s Angry Ginge — people are fuming.”

The source further claimed more tenured influencers feel “stitched up” by the alleged snub.

FILLY SHOCK

Ginge was left stunned last year when his GNT (Girth N Turf) gaming partner Yung Filly real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos – was arrested and charged in Australia for sexual assault and rape.

The EA FC 25 Pro Clubs team has featured a host of star players from Luke Littler to Wayne Rooney and Aitch.

Speaking last October, Ginge said: “I think the next big question… GNT (Girth N Turf)… if you want my honest answer, I don’t know its future. I don’t know its future at the minute. Right?

“We’ll see what we can do. But, at the minute, I don’t know. And that’s all I’m going to say. And there’s not much else I can say.”

Filly has been banned from leaving the state since October and must report to Perth Police Station regularly.

In March, the rapper pleaded not guilty to four counts of sexual penetration without consent and three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.

He also denied one count of strangulation – after being accused of choking the victim during the alleged assault.

A 10-day trial is set to begin on July 20, 2026.

GOLDEN RULE

Before battling bugs and chomping critters in camp, Ginge caused havoc by breaking an ITV golden rule and speaking freely about his jungle stint.

He spoke to The Sun moments after landing in Brisbane and said: “I’m very excited – I’ve never been here before so it should be fun.”

Revealing he’d had a natter with at least three other show stars, he said: “You won’t actually believe why I’m here…

“I got a random phone call last night off Kelly Brook saying she’s ‘coming to visit her auntie Sheila, do I want to join her?’.

“So I said, ‘I might as well’.

“Then Lisa Riley rings me and says she’s doing Dingles Down Under, do I want to join her? I said I might as well.

“Then Aitch said he’s going on tour so I said I’ll join him as well.

“And then Aitch’s mum rings me and says, ‘I’ve got two weeks in Australia I’ve just won off Postcode Lottery, do I want to join her?’

“I said I might as well!”

He then made a jokey remark about his good pal and fellow campmate Aitch, who is also in the show.

He said: “I’m not the number one fan of his music, but he’s a good guy so it should be fun.”
