1960 Italian and German variety show
stars the Kessler Twins committed assisted suicide in their home
near Munich at the age of 89 Monday, tabloid newspaper Bild
reported.
According to the German newspaper, Ellen and Alice Kessler
resorted to assisted suicide, a practice permitted in Germany
under certain conditions.
Police were reportedly informed, after the two women had already
died.
When they arrived, officers could only confirm the death and
rule out third-party liability.
