Jake Paul: Who is Anthony Joshua’s opponent and what is his boxing record?

Paul was born in Cleveland, Ohio and amassed billions of views on videos posted on Vine between 2013 and the platform’s closure in 2017.
He started posting videos on YouTube in 2014, filming various pranks and music videos, often with his brother and fellow YouTuber, Logan.
Paul placed second in the 2018 Forbes list of highest-paid YouTubers, thanks to a combination of streaming and video revenue, along with his other business ventures.
Paul’s debut boxing match came in 2018 against YouTuber Deji Olatunji – brother of YouTuber KSI – with Paul winning by technical knockout.
His first bouts as a professional came in 2020 against YouTuber AnEsonGib and basketball player Nate Robinson, with Paul winning both.
From then on, Paul fought a mixture of professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters and professional boxers – including a controversial bout against 58-year-old Mike Tyson in 2024.
By June 2025, Forbes listed Paul as one of the world’s highest-paid creators and estimated that he earned £37.9m ($50m) in the previous year.
