Emergency services were called to Margate Parade at Margate in the City of Moreton Bay at about 11.27pm.
They found a 17-year-old girl with life-threatening injuries and rendered CPR.
She was declared dead at the scene.
It’s suspected a car, believed to be a white ute, struck the girl before the driver fled the scene.
The investigation continues.
