Brad Lyons experienced the proudest moment of his life on Friday. There he was in Kosice playing for his country in the World Cup and back home his three month old son Theo was in front of the TV wearing a Northern Ireland shirt watching his dad.
Michael O’Neill’s side may have lost the Group A qualifier 1-0 to Slovakia but post match Kilmarnock midfielder Lyons felt like a winner reflecting on an image sent to him by his fiancée Aishlyn ahead of the game.
