Five-Star 2026 Guard Miles Sadler Commits to WVU Basketball

WVU Basketball has added a five-star point guard to its 2026 class with a commitment from Miles Sadler Sunday, beating out Maryland, Oklahoma, Tennessee, UCLA and USC.
Sadler announced his commitment on the CBS Sports College Basketball live stream.
He highlighted the coaching staff as a reasoning for his commitment and said he is excited to grow his relationship with head coach Ross Hodge.
“Just the coaching staff, Coach Ross told me from day one that he doesn’t feel like I’m a guy who has to wait. So with the trust that he’s instilled in me from now and I feel that bond’s gonna grow stronger,” Sadler said on the live stream.
Sadler also spoke on how “family-oriented” WVU’s culture was and that it fit what he was looking for.
“How family oriented. It’s a college town. One of the only big places that are all focused on college hoops. It’s just great to see that they have a family-type bond and something that I was really looking for in my recruitment process,” Sadler said.
Sadler is a 5-foot-11 point guard for Bella Vista Prep in Arizona. That name might sound familiar to Mountaineer fans, because Sadler is teammates with 2026 WVU commit Aliou Dioum at Bella Vista.
Sadler is the 23rd-ranked recruit in SCNext 100. Based on 247 Sports, Sadler is regarded as the No. 5 prospect in Arizona and ranked as the 41st overall player with a national composure ranking of 26.
Ross Hodge and his staff hosted Sadler for an official visit on Oct. 24.
