What was the Final Jeopardy question for Friday, Nov. 14, 2025?
The Final Jeopardy question on Friday, Nov. 14, dealt with 21st Century Novels. The clue: “Part 1 of this novel is Toronto & Pondicherry; Part 2 is the Pacific Ocean.”
Whitaker, Khan, and Steele had 30 seconds to write down their response.
The correct answer?
“What is ‘Life of Pi’?”
Steele, a fellow Hoosier from Sellersburg, answered incorrectly with “What is ‘Eat, Pray, Love’?”
“Not the right book, I’m afraid,” said host Ken Jennings, adding, “Would’ve been very different if she’d wound up in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. What a twist for Elizabeth Gilbert.”
Jennings’ quip drew a laugh from the audience and a smile from Steele, whose wager of $2,401 left him with $4,599, a third-place finish.
Khan, originally from Toronto, got it right. Her bet of $4,601 earned her a final score of $14,01 to finish in second place.
It was Whitaker, however, already with $21,800, who finished first. His correct answer increased his score by another $2,999 for a final total of $24,799.

The Terre Haute native will face off against challengers Lawrence Suba, a technical software trainer from Verona, Wisconsin, and Rachel Bernstein, a teacher from Los Angeles, California.
