New storm could hit during evening rush hour Monday in San Diego County

A new Pacific storm will hit San Diego County during evening rush hour Monday en route to dropping up to an inch of rain across the region, the National Weather Service said.
The system is weaker than the storm that drenched parts of the county with between 1.5 inches to 2.8 inches over the weekend. But it is much colder and could deliver 1 inch to 3 inches of snow on local mountain peaks.
Forecasters say the new storm will clear to the east by Wednesday morning but could be followed a third system on Thursday.
San Diego International Airport recorded 1.43 inches of rain from Nov. 1 through 4 p.m. Sunday, which is almost a half-inch more than it averages for the entire month.
