My partner has no idea I’m on Babestation – I wait until he falls asleep and he’s almost caught me so many times

FOR more than two decades, the adult cam platform has been a late-night favourite for Brits logging on to cam and chat.
The bright lights and cheeky chat are still there, but Babestation has moved with the times. Regular updates and new technology have kept it ahead of the cam world, opening up opportunities for a new generation of models to take part and benefit.

A new wave of performers are choosing to stay faceless, reclaiming control over how much of themselves they reveal – and redefining what intimacy means in the digital age.
And we have spoken to three of them – including a woman who has two lives, a mum who jumped on the bandwagon after her husband left and another mum in a bid for financial freedom who now earns up to £3,000 a month.
‘My boyfriend has no idea that I’m on Babestation – I have a secret life’
Jenny* – who goes by her moniker, Mixedbbwqueen – is a 35-year-old woman from the UK who first started working as a cam girl to “be her own boss”.
She joined Babestation earlier this year – but her other half has no idea, with the naughty Brit doing her job after her partner goes to sleep.

“At the start I was bored, curious and wanted to make a bit of extra money,” she said.
Jenny said her partner thinks her extra cash comes from making foot videos.
“It’s been quite easy to get away with it as he works nights and I can do my job when he’s working or in the day when he’s asleep.
“I try to be as quiet as I can – or wait for him to leave for work if I am camming in the day – so I can be my full free self, because I am a naturally loud person.
“I always lock the door and have almost been caught a few times as I can forget to remove a sexy accessory,” she said.
Jenny didn’t plan on doing the cam work for so long, but the faceless gig has boosted her confidence.
“I can perform and enjoy what I do without feeling exposed,” she said.
But it’s there’s no shame for Jenny, she’d just rather not be recognised by the public or have people make assumptions about her.
“Sometimes I feel like I live two different lives – this is my little secret.
“But I think it might be something that I end up discussing with my boyfriend down the line.”
‘I joined Babestation to pay for my house and two kids after my husband left – I work from my bedroom while the kids sleep’
Victoria* – known as Vee BeeXoX by her fans – is a 45-year-old from Sussex and hopped on the faceless camgirl train following a divorce.
She was convinced to give it a go in July this year after a conversation with a mum at the school gates.
With two kids and a house to pay for, she initially took on the gig to make more money. But now, she loves it.
“My husband left me with two kids and a house to pay for,” she said.
“I was about to lose everything and had no help from anyone. So I thought, ‘What can I do in between running my two small businesses to make more money?’”
It was then that a mum friend of Victoria’s confessed she was making money from Babestation, and encouraged her to give it a go too.
“People think camming is really sleazy or that men are disrespectful to the models – but not once has this happened to me.
“As a mum I only ever do my job in the house when I’m on my own or when the kids are in bed asleep,” she said.
The mum said she even keeps a monitor on her little ones as she works through the night so there will be no chance of them waking up and seeing her.
Laws around selling sex in the UK
PROSTITUTION itself is legal in England and Wales.
However, soliciting in public, kerb crawling, pimping, and owning or managing a brothel are all crimes.
Some MPs want to see brothels decriminalised, because they think the current law could discourage hookers from working together in groups – which is generally safer for them.
In Sweden, for example, buying sex is a criminal act – but selling it is not.
It is not a crime to sell sex in a brothel, unless the worker is involved in the management of the business.
The term “escort” refers to a person hired for companionship, which may or may not involve other services.
‘I make up to £3,000 a month – I do this job for my family’
Rachel Smith hails from East Sussex and first started camming at Babestation for financial freedom.
The 30-year-old mum initially joined the network at the start of 2025.
Now, nearly a year later, she makes a pretty penny – earning between £2,000-£3,000 every month.
“I’m one of those people who says yes to everything, so I thought, ‘Why not give it a go?’,” she said.
“People pay to see me from my lips down, which is a ridiculous confidence boost. I do my cam work from home because I have children and can fit my job around them.
“I do this job for my family and for me, it offers me so much freedom and flexibility,” she added.
The mum even said she’s told some of her friends about it, and they’ve also signed up to earn some extra cash.

“One of my mum pals was really struggling; she has to pay a mortgage and has kids, and this has just completely changed everything for her.
“You make friends, you chat – Babestation is a really supportive community of women,” she added.
