JLS turned Cardiff’s Utilita Arena into a huge nightclub on a Monday night as part of their latest tour.
It’s not often you hear all your favourite hits in one place but this is exactly what the boyband brought to the Welsh capital as part of their The Club Is Alive: 2025 Hits Tour on November 17.
The band said this tour was all about giving fans the best night out possible and they didn’t disappoint.
Listening to hits like Everybody In Love and Eyes Wide Shut immediately takes fans back to a time when everything felt that bit simpler.
As the crowd waited for the show to start, the sold-out crowd were treated to a performance by support act, singer-songwriter and rapper Example.

With a number of well-known songs from the noughties including Kickstarts and Changed The Way You Kissed Me, fans were immediately transported back to 2010.
Cardiff hasn’t had to wait long to see the boys return, with the band having last performed in the city at Cardiff Castle on July 7, 2024 as part of their Summer Hits tour.
This time, the group promised to transport fans to the club as they performed some of their greatest hits alongside some of the most well-loved dancefloor anthems.
There was no messing about from the boys. The club night feel arrived instantly in the arena from the moment the band took to the stage with their 2010’s hit The Club Is Alive.
Aston Merrygold appeared on crutches following an injury sustained in rehearsals so Marvin Humes, Ortisé Williams and JB Gill were in charging of bringing the dances moves.
Making sure not to miss a beat, they put on a performance with a series of impeccably co-ordinated routines, which fans have come to know the band for.

The party continued with hits including Do You Feel What I Feel and Hottest Girl In The World and, if it wasn’t already, fans’ attention was instantly captured as fire erupted from each side of the stage.
Even if you aren’t the biggest JLS fan, it was easy to enjoy the performance as the group treated fans to a range of classic club hits through DJ sets performed by both Marvin and Aston.
From Sean Paul’s Temperature to Miley Cyrus’ Party In The USA, the boys understood the assignment with their song selection during the DJ section.
They even treated the crowd to their The X Factor cover of Rihanna and Jay-Z’s Umbrella, which they first performed on the ITV show back in 2008.
As well as show-stopping vocals, the audience were treated to a dance lesson in how to perform one of the band’s most iconic routines.

A short interval for an outfit change saw a video of presenter Sam Thompson, who appeared on I’m A Celebrity the same year as with Marvin, teach the audience the iconic dance moves for She Makes Me Wanna.
Fans even got a look at some live salsa dancing from the band’s own Strictly Come Dancing 2024 finalist JB.
After being in the spotlight for over seventeen years, the band reflected on their journey from The X Factor to now and showed their genuine gratitude to those who’ve supported them on their journey.
As it edged towards the end of the night, the group couldn’t go without performing their best-loved song Beat Again before ending with fan favourite Everybody In Love.
Luckily for fans, they will be doing it all over again in Cardiff tonight so make sure you don’t miss it.
