FIRST ALERT: Flood watch, winter storm warning in effect for Las Vegas Valley

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — FOX5 is monitoring weather conditions for the Las Vegas Valley as a winter storm warning and flood watch have been issued.
FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Flood Watch in effect for Las Vegas on Tuesday
FOX5 meteorologists say rain is in the forecast Tuesday from around 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. Flooding could be possible with heavy rain. Temperatures are expected in the 50s throughout the day.
According to weather alerts from the National Weather Service, the winter storm warning is in effect for the Sheep Range and Spring Mountains from 10 p.m. Monday to 4 a.m. Wednesday. Officials say a mixture of rain and snow is expected for Kyle Canyon through Tuesday before it becomes snow by sunset.
A flood watch is in effect for Lake Mead, Las Vegas, Clark County and southern Nye County starting Monday night through late Tuesday night.
