The Detroit Pistons may finally get Cade Cunningham back before facing the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

The superstar guard is listed as “questionable” leading into their 7:30 p.m. road game, the second half of a back-to-back after they defeated the Indiana Pacers at home Monday, 127-112. Cunningham has missed three-straight games with a left hip contusion.

They were also without Ausar Thompson and Tobias Harris (right ankle sprains), who also are both listed as questionable against the Hawks. Thompson has missed four games in a row, and Harris’ injury status has been upgraded after missing eight-straight games. Bobi Klintman (left ankle sprain), who was added to the report on Sunday, is listed as out.

Jaden Ivey and Marcus Sasser also remain out and have yet to make their season debuts, though Ivey was assigned to the Motor City Cruise on Tuesday as his rehab from an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee ramps up.

Cunningham was listed as questionable on Monday but was ruled out shortly before opening tip in the Pistons’ win over the Pacers. He suffered a hard fall late in the fourth quarter against the Washington Wizards on Nov. 10 after Cam Whitmore fouled him during a dunk attempt. Against the Wizards, Cunningham made a brief trip to the locker room, then returned and played out the remainder of the quarter and overtime.

He finished with a career-high 46 points (on a franchise-record 45 shot attempts), 12 rebounds, 11 assists, five steals and just two turnovers in 45 minutes to lead the Pistons to a 137-135 OT win.

Duren returned from a three-game absence due to a right ankle sprain Monday and put up a dominant performance with 31 points and 15 rebounds on 12-for-13 overall shooting. The win over the Pacers extended their winning streak to 10 – the longest the franchise has had since 2007-08 – and improved their record to 12-2 overall to continue leading the East.

Both Duren and Cunningham appeared in all of the Pistons’ first 11 games and are the team’s leading scorers during their 11-2 start, the franchise’s best since the 2005-06 season. Cunningham is averaging 27.5 points, 9.9 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game, while Duren is averaging 20.3 points, 12.2 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and a steal.
