ARIAs red carpet: What the stars are wearing at the Australian music awards

The ARIA awards are being held at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion this evening, bringing together the best and brightest on the Australian music scene.
But it’s not all about sound — when musicians are given free rein to dress up for an occasion, we’re bound to get some stunning visuals too.
Here’s a wrap of some of the looks we’ve seen so far.
Olivia Dean’s dress may look like it’s all glamour, but I suspect the skirt can be converted into a sleeping bag — making it quite a practical frock. (Getty Images: Wendell Teodoro)
I challenge you to wear something like Charley’s wearing and not pose like this the entire time. An impossible task! (Getty Images: Wendell Teodoro)
Tilly Oddy-Black in a dress that could very well have been fashioned out of a bunch of mulberries squished together to make a kind of wearable fruit leather. (Getty Images: Wendell Teodoro)
I took one look at Tory Forsyth’s outfit and immediately asked myself, “Yeah, actually, why aren’t there more movies about vampire cowgirls?!” (Getty Images: Wendell Teodoro)
Olivia Molly Rogers looks like she was assigned the role of an insect in a school musical to make her look bad but she was allowed to make her own costume and turned the tables by showing up in this. (Getty Images: Wendell Teodoro)
With a persona called Fashion Critical, would you really expect anything else from this diva? (Getty Images: Wendell Teodoro)
Hang tight, there’s more to come.
