Dexter: Resurrection season 2: Clyde Phillips drops major update about new season

‘Dexter: Resurrection’ new season will begin filming in next year in April
Dexter: Resurrection creator Clyde Phillips has spilled some inside details about season 2.
Following the successful run of the first season, the maker has teased what’s in store for fans in the upcoming part.
While discussing the remaining mysteries of the show, Clyde has finally unveiled that the long-teased threat will finally be making its debut in the show as he confirmed that a major villain will be appearing in season 2.
The new season will bring in the New York Ripper as the major antagonist of the Dexter: Resurrection season 2.
On November 18, the creator appeared for a chat on the Dark Passengers: A Dexter Podcast where he was asked to reveal anything about Don Framt in the show’s forthcoming season.
Phillips simply replied by saying, “He’ll be in the second season.”
This is first major reveal made by Clyde since the renewal of the show for the second season in October.
The yet-unseen character of New York Ripper loomed throughout season one of the series with Detective Wallace referencing her “past attempts to capture him” and Prater underlining his obsession with the “uncaught and seemingly dormant killer.”
Dexter: Resurrection season 2 filming is set to kickstart in April 2026.
