La Bianconere will lock horns against OL Lyonnes as the fourth matchweek of the UEFA Champions League Women’s gets underway. The match will take place at the Stadio Pozzo Lamarmora, Biella, Italy. The teams have met eight times recently, with five wins for Olympique Lyonnes, two stalemates, and one win for Juventus Women.
Juventus Women have had a rough terrain to contend with. They opened their campaign with a 2-1 victory over SL Benfica Women, but were stunted in the second 2-1 matchup against Bayern Munich. They took up arms against Atletico de Madrid women in the third matchup, winning by a one-goal margin in the 2-1 full-time score.
Olympique Lyonnes have had an excellent run in the tournament, cruising past their first three opponents in high-standard fashion. In the opener against Arsenal FC, they secured a 2-1 win, which set the perfect foundation for the subsequent 3-0 victory against St Polten. The third game against Wolfsburg was a 3-1 breeze, with the team holding an early domination, which was reinforced in both halves.
I don’t believe the Italian ladies, La Bianconere, possess the same quality as the French ladies. Therefore, I think the visitors will come out on top. Their passive-aggressive style of pitch presentation allows for quick counters, which they mostly put away in the back of the net, courtesy of Melchie Durmonay. As a result, I’m expecting at least three goals before full-time.

Wolfsburg Women Form: WWL

The She-wolves of Wolfsburg, Die Wolfinnen, will play against the Red Devils at the AOK Stadion, Wolfsburg, Germany. This will be the first time these slides will play, and as such, expectations are heightened ahead of this clash.
Despite being tipped as underdogs against Paris Saint-Germain in the opening fixture, the She-wolves had a field day, ending the game with a 4-0 scoreline that sent the overconfident guests scurrying back with their tails between their legs. The second match-up saw an evenly contested game against Valenraga, in a game that saw the visitors equalize their 57th-minute advantage three minutes later. A penalty in the 98th minute, however, handed the winning points into their hands as the game finished 2-1. Their luck ran short against the lionesses of Olympique Lyonnais, who beat them 3-1, ushering them into their first defeat of the season.
The Red Devils have been unbeaten in their opening three matches, narrowly edging past Valenranga in the opener with a 1-0 decisive victory, which was repeated against Atletico de Madrid in a game that saw the Devils defend a 24th-minute opener till the final whistle. The third game saw an even game against PSG, which went slightly in their favour in the second half, after the first half ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
I expect goals from this game since the two sides have shown scoring consistency over the last three matchweeks.

Arsenal Women (England) vs Real Madrid Women (Spain)
Arsenal Women Form: LWL
Real Madrid Women Form: WWD
At Meadow Park, the Gunners will attempt to tie up loose ends against Las Blancas, Real Madrid Women. Three games have produced different fortunes for the sides, with the Gunners having two losses and a win from three games, while the Spanish ladies from Madrid have an unbeaten run, with two wins and one stalemate.
The Gunners exhibited tactical inferiority against the Lionness of Olympique Lyon and paid the raw price of defeat in the opening 2-1 scoreline. The second match against Benfica saw the hosts fall to overconfidence, which gave them the avenue for a 2=0 victory. Their third game, however, was a tough one, as they played the Germans from Bayern Munich, eventually falling like a pack of cards in the final 3-2 scoreline.
Las Blancas opened their campaign with a gut-wrenching 6-2 score over their Italian opposition, AS Roma women, in the first round, before forging a 2-1 victory against Paris Saint-Germain in the second match. Paris FC proved themselves a tricky opponent, and the best the Whites could get from the game was a point in the 1-1 parity negotiated after ninety minutes.
My bet will be for goals from the sides.
