Kelsea Ballerini Gets Emotional at Pop-Up Show While Responding to Internet Speculation About Her Music

Kelsea Ballerini is responding to the internet speculation about her new music, which also prompted a reaction from her ex-boyfriend Chase Stokes this week.

The 32-year-old country singer performed a pop-up show to celebrate her Mount Pleasant EP on Monday night (November 17) at Vu in Nashville, Tenn.

Kelsea performed the five songs on the EP and opened up to the crowd about each of them.

The song “Emerald City” has been getting the most attention, with fans speculating that the song is about Chase‘s ex-girlfriend and Outer Banks co-star Madelyn Cline. During the show, Kelsea spoke out against the internet chatter.
