Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Josh Gad are reportedly going to earn massive paydays for their work in two more Frozen movies.
After all earning $15 million each for Frozen 2, including their upfront fees and bonuses, they will be getting major increases for the next films.
Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed back in November 2023 that the fourth Frozen movie was in the works at the same time as the third movie. Now, we’ve learned that the three main stars are going to earn some of the biggest paydays of all time for an animated role.

TheWrap reports that the three actors will all earn $60 million each for their work on the two upcoming movies, netting them $30 million each per movie.
The outlet reports that the payday “includes upfront fees and back end bonus payments in each case” with the upfront sum coming to $20 million per actor. Bonuses will be “tied to the film’s financial success.”
The report also notes that Jennifer Lee is returning to direct after stepping down from her role as CCO of Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2024.
The first Frozen movie was released in 2013 and earned $1.2 billion at the global box office. Frozen 2 hit theaters in 2019 and grossed $1.45 billion worldwide.
