The NBA action on Wednesday, Nov. 19 continues at American Airlines Center in Dallas where the New York Knicks are taking on the Dallas Mavericks.

The Knicks are 8-5, but they are winless on the road in four attempts so far this season. Their last try was on Monday in Miami where the lost to the Heat, 115-113. A pair of shots from Miles McBride and a final attempt from Karl-Anthony Towns all missed as the Knicks started a five-game road trip on a sour note. McBride’s 25 led all scorers while Towns had 22 and 15 boards and Mikal Bridges had 23, four blocks and two steals. Mitchell Robinson snagged 11 boards and Landry Shamat chipped in 10 points. Off the bench, Jordan Clarkson and Josh Hart both scored 14, with Hart having nine assists and five rebounds.

The Mavericks are only 3-7 at home and 4-11 overall after a 120-96 blowout loss in Minneapolis to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jaden Hardy was the team’s leading scorer from off the bench with 17 while No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg and Brandon Williams both went for 15 from the starting lineup. P.J. Washington added 13 and Moussa Cisse had 10 rebounds.
