Joel Embiid out for Sixers-Bucks on Thursday, Paul George set to return

The Sixers unveiled a loaded injury report Thursday afternoon in advance of their road contest with the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday evening, which includes Joel Embiid listed as out due to right knee injury management and Tyrese Maxey listed as probable due to a right quadricep contusion. Paul George, who sat out on Wednesday, is not listed:
The Sixers have an injury report for tonight’s game @ Milwaukee:

Sixers head coach Nick Nurse was noncommittal when asked about the statuses of Embiid and George after the Sixers’ loss to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night. George sat on the front end of the team’s back-to-back after Nurse acknowledged the nine-time All Star had not yet been cleared to play two nights in a row. Embiid was initially doubtful to play against Toronto and then was downgraded to out; he has missed five games in a row and the last four absences have been caused by a new right knee issue (not the left knee which has been the subject of multiple recent procedures).
The absences of Kelly Oubre Jr. and Adem Bona were both expected. Oubre will be re-evaluated in two weeks after suffering an LCL sprain in his left knee, the Sixers said on Wednesday night, while Bona was ruled out through Thursday’s game over the weekend due to a right ankle sprain.
Jared McCain, it appears, has been cleared to play in both ends of any back-to-backs. He is listed as available after logging 14 minutes on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo will be sidelined for Milwaukee due to a recent left groin strain. Antetokounmpo is expected to be out for a week or two, which means he will likely be available when the Sixers return to Milwaukee on Dec. 5.
