ITV bosses are reportedly closing monitoring one I’m A Celeb contestant after their behaviour in the jungle raised worries among viewers. The star has already broken down in tears and clashed with a fellow campmate.
The star in question is Jack Osbourne, following his father Ozzy Osbourne’s tragic passing only a few months ago. Some, including I’m A Celebrity… Unpacked guests Alison Hammond and Leigh Francis, have questioned whether his appearance on the ITV show might be happening too soon after such a personal loss. Concerns grew when Jack was seen breaking down in tears on camera while discussing the Black Sabbath legend.
Tensions escalated further after a clash with fellow campmate Kelly Brook. Jack was seen snapping at Kelly over how she cut the potatoes for dinner, leaving the former model visibly upset.

Whilst on Unpacked, Alison and Leigh, who is also known as Keith Lemon, both said they feared Jack had signed up for the show too soon. Alison said: “I think he should just chill for a bit. I actually feel it’s too soon for him to be in the jungle. I think maybe he should’ve waited a bit. I found it quite painful seeing his pain on camera.”
While Leigh added: “There’s so much sadness in his face. I think it’s too soon. He’s gonna get angry at things because his emotions are all over the place. I know he’s come in here to sort of keep his mind occupied and busy and get through the grief, but I think it’s still there.”
Now, The Sun reports that ITV bosses are concerned as well. A source told the publication that Jack is being ‘intensely’ monitored.
“Bosses are monitoring his situation intensely,” the source stated. “ITV has strong duty of care procedures in place and producers do their utmost to ensure campmates are OK 24/7 — but never more so than in situations like this.”
ITV has stressed that the welfare of all contestants on I’m A Celebrity is a top priority, the Mirror reports. A spokesperson for the show commented: “We have procedures in place to monitor the wellbeing of all our campmates 24/7.”

Ozzy Osbourne passed away from a heart attack at the age of 76 in July, just two weeks after performing his final concert in Birmingham. Reflecting on his father’s death with campmate Lisa Riley, Jack described it as a “shock”.
“It was definitely a shock,” he said.
As he continued: “I mean, we knew he was sick for a while, but it was definitely a shock, I mean, we didn’t know it would be that quick… It was the ultimate mic drop, he did a massive big gig and was like, ‘Alright, I’m done.'”
