Thailand v Netherlands
Hosts Thailand came out on top against the Netherlands, securing a 23-run victory.
The Netherlands won the toss and asked Thailand to bat.
Natthakan Chantham top scored for the Asian side with 39, while keeper-batter Nannapat Koncharoenkai and Phannita Maya provided able support down the order with 26 runs apiece to take them to 117/7 from their 20 overs.
Caroline de Lange (2/25) and Silver Siegers (2/11) contributed two wickets each with the ball for the Dutch.
In the second innings, Thipatcha Putthawong, Suleeporn Laomi, and Onnicha Kamchomphu were on their mark with the ball, sharing two wickets apiece, as the Netherlands were bowled out with seven balls to spare.
Skipper Babette de Leede (25), Robine Rijke (23), and De Lange (21) showed promising signs, but wickets at regular intervals kept Thailand in command.
