Converse Basketball have just pulled another chair up to the family table – and their latest guest has a pretty familiar name! Nickeil Alexander-Walker has been cooking for Atlanta this season, dropping 18 a night next to Trae Young. Now, that breakout run comes with a fresh move: joining his cousin Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on the Converse roster.
‘I’ve always approached basketball as a way to express who I am,’ Alexander-Walker said in a statement. ‘Partnering with Converse gives me the space to be creative not just in how I play, but in how I show up. Converse values individuality, and that’s something I’ve always carried with me. I’m excited to join a team that shares my mindset.’
The shooting guard joins a lineup packed with style and personality, including Kelly Oubre Jr and Payton Pritchard.
