Okay, I’ve been trying to articulate something, and I can’t find the right words, but here goes. This idea of a safe space to hate watch the team. I’m all for that. GDTs are full to overflowing with pessimistic prognostications, fantasy worst case scenarios and doom, gloom and despair. It’s natural and in the moment, and as long as you don’t sound like a Habs troll, you’re fine.
But ya know. For those of us who don’t hate watch, who aren’t always hoping for the worst, and who like to notice players doing well, we’re here too. We’d like a little space too. If someone wants to note the good things, I’ll promise you they can see the yuck. It’s hard to miss! They don’t need to be told about it.
Preview: Leafs have the Blues
So do the Blues, it seems.
Tonight is the Pride game, which is more of an in-arena event with a lot of intermission and pregame aspects to it you don’t see on TV. We will likely get some after the fact video of some of it.
