Octopus Energy has announced Pink Friday where customers can bag freebies all weekCredit: EPA
Octopus will be running ‘Pink Friday’ from today, with a new deal and freebie offered every day.
Customers will be able to get their hands on free ODEON cinema tickets, £8 off UberEats, free chocolates, free Greggs sausage rolls, plush toys and £8 off dishes at Ask Italian.
From 24 to 28 November, customers will also be able to enter a prize draw to win a brand new Jaecoo J5 Pure or the OMODA E5 Noble.
Customers should also mark December 2 in the diary as Octopus has teamed up with Appleyard London to give away luxurious bouquets for £8.

EV owners can now charge at home for FREE – but there’s a catch
The bunches of flowers are originally £25, so Octopus shoppers will be saving £17.
There are 8,000 bouquets up for grabs, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Rebecca Dibb-Simkin, Chief Marketing and Product Officer at Octopus Energy, said: “Black Friday can be about buying stuff we don’t need. So we thought we’d do the opposite – give thousands of things people’ll actually enjoy, for free.
“Pink Friday is about fun, fairness, and flipping the script on consumerism.”
How to access the freebies and deals
Octopus customers will be able to keep tabs on the deals by clicking the Octoplus button on their Octopus Energy App.
The deals are only available for Octopus Energy customers, have a smart meter that provides half-hourly readings and pay via Direct Debit to join Octoplus.
If you are a business customer or a smart prepayment customer, you can also join Octoplus.
Pink Friday codes will be released daily from November 24 until December 2 and are subject to availability.
The Pink Friday codes can be redeemed in the Octoplus section of the app or dashboard.
Customers can also view available offers and check their Octopoints balance.
Codes can be used in store or online.
If you have entered the Jaecoo prize draw, make sure you are available to answer the phone on November 28 between 3pm and 3.30pm.
Two winners will be contacted and asked: “What day is it?”, and they will need to answer: “It’s Pink Friday”.
Free electric blankets with Octopus
Octopus is also handing out free electric blankets to help struggling households cut heating bills by as much as £300 this winter.
Electric blankets cost around 2p to 4p an hour to run, which is much cheaper than heating an entire home and can cost around £4 a day.
Octopus is giving away 10,000 blankets this winter and is prioritising elderly customers and those with mobility issues.

Applicants must first complete a Paylink budget form, which looks at income and expenses to determine what help they qualify for.
Decisions are usually made within seven days, and only one blanket will be given per household.

From November 20, Octopus is offering deals and freebies all week. Here you can check the line up:
- Monday: Greggs Treat Drop – 8,000 free Greggs sausage rolls (or savoury item of your choice)
- Tuesday: Constantine Chocolates – thousands of packs of free chocolates
- Wednesday: ODEON Movie Night – up to 2 free cinema tickets per customer
- Thursday: Constantine Plushie Takeover – 10,000 free plush toys given away
- Friday: The Big One – £8 off UberEats for a Friday night takeaway
- Monday: Cyber Monday – £8 dishes at AskItalian
