Periods of rain remain overhead Thursday afternoon, becoming more spotty tonight
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) –
Widespread rain Thursday morning is making way for on and off rain heading into Thursday afternoon. A stalled front across the area is making for cooler temperatures in the 50s in northern areas, but 70s in southernmost neighborhoods in Northern Mississippi.
Heading home from work, rain showers will be on and off, with periods of rain coming along with periods of drier weather at times. While not as steady as rain this morning, still bring the rain gear for evening plans, including the Grizzlies game, as there will be a wet feel to the air.
Overnight, rain coverage will become more spotty as lows fall into the mid 60s.
Friday features another round of rain moving through the Mid-South during the morning, with spotty to scattered showers remaining in place for the afternoon and evening.
The Extended Forecast brings drier weather in the forecast this weekend with the sun peaking through from behind the clouds at times as highs reach the 60s and lows fall into the 60s. The next chance for rain will be Monday into Tuesday.
