There was a notable guest in attendance Thursday at the Bengal Belles luncheon at L’Auberge Casino Hotel: Landry Kiffin, daughter of Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin.
Landry Kiffin has been a familiar figure at LSU games this season as she is dating Tigers junior linebacker Whit Weeks. She attended the luncheon with Whit and his LSU linebacker brothers, West and Zach, along with their mother, Erin.
Whit Weeks is expected to play for the first time since Oct. 11 after sitting out the past four games with a bone bruise.
Landry Kiffin’s timing was certainly interesting since her father is considered to be LSU’s top target to replace Brian Kelly as LSU’s coach.
Monday, members of the Kiffin family flew to Baton Rouge to tour the city after making a similar trip to Gainesville, Florida, on Sunday. Lane Kiffin is reportedly considering whether to return to Ole Miss for a seventh season or leave for LSU or Florida.
LSU hosts Western Kentucky on Saturday (6:45 p.m., SEC Network) in the Tigers’ final home game. Ole Miss is idle.
