Kings of Leon to headline Belsonic at Ormeau Park

One of the world’s most iconic alternative rock bands in recent years, Kings of Leon, will headline Belsonic in Belfast in 2026.

With a track history of performing at other worldwide festivals, including Coachella, Glastonbury, and Lollapalooza’s in Berlin, they are set to rock Ormeau Park on Monday, June 29.

The band, which is made up of Caleb (guitar/vocals), Nathan (drums), Jared (bass) and Matthew Followill (guitar), have released nine albums since their debut 23 years ago.

From their first album in 2003, Youth & Young Manhood, to their most recent ‘Can we please have fun’ (2024), the band have been awarded eight Grammy award nominations, three Grammy wins, three NME Awards, two Brit Awards, and one Juno Award.

Their most recent album sold over 20 million albums and nearly 40 million singles worldwide.

Kings of Leon recently dropped an EP with four new songs.

Belfast’s summer music festival, held annually in Ormeau Park, is known for world-class line-up.

In 2025, headliners included Justin Timberlake, Stereophonics, Snow Patrol, and Charli XCX.
