Broncos’ Barron Deletes Photo Trolling Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce After Win vs. Chiefs

Denver Broncos rookie cornerback Jahdae Barron took down a post trolling Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift following Denver’s 22-19 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Barron initially posted an image of himself (h/t SI.com’s Kristen Wong) tackling Kelce during the game before sharing the post on his Instagram story with the caption, “Tell swift put me on a song RIGHT NOW.”

The story was deleted on Thursday.

Barron finished with two tackles in the win, as he’s been tasked with guarding opposing tight ends throughout his inaugural year with the Broncos. As for Kelce, he hauled in nine receptions on 13 targets for a game-high 91 yards and a touchdown.

Sunday’s game was a hard-fought battle, with neither team holding a two-score lead at any point in the contest. Denver ultimately emerged victorious following a 10-play, 58-yard drive that ended with a game-winning field goal as time expired.

Kelce and Swift have been in a public relationship for multiple years, with the tight end getting engaged to the 14-time Grammy Award-winner before the start of the 2025 season.

Kelce has remained effective in his 13th year as a member of the Chiefs, catching 50 passes for 631 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games.

Barron has racked up 21 tackles and three passes defended to go along with one interception across 11 appearances. The No. 20 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft also owns a 78.4 passing rating when targeted, according to Pro Football Focus.

Sunday’s win marked the eighth consecutive victory for the Broncos, as they improved to 9-2 overall and extended their lead atop the AFC West standings. Meanwhile, the Chiefs fell to 5-5 and sit at No. 3 in the division.
