Hugh Jackman finally addresses Wolverine comment

Hugh Jackman has recently clarified his comment that he would never play Wolverine again.

The Australian actor revealed that he did say that he would not return as Wolverine but now he’s open to play his iconic role once more.

Hugh made major announcement about his comeback during an appearance on The Graham Norton show, which airs on November 21.

“Maybe. I’m never saying ‘never’ ever again. I did mean it until the day I changed my mind. I did mean it for quite a few years,” said the 57-year-old.

However, Hugh quipped, “I have done ten films now, so I think they have enough for an AI version of me!”

Daily Mail reported that Hugh’s Deadpool & Wolverine, which also starred Ryan Reynolds, become the highest-grossing R-rated movie ever as it earned billions worldwide.

Elsewhere on the show, the Prisoners actor also discussed his new movie, Song Sung Blue, along with his co-star Kate Hudson.

Hugh also gushed over his co-star, saying, “Whatever expectations I had of Kate, she came in and blew straight past them. She is a force of nature and honestly it is one of the best performances you will ever see. She is extraordinary.”

Meanwhile, the Logan actor and new girlfriend Sutton Foster made their red carpet debut as a couple last month at the premiere of his upcoming movie during the 2025 AFI Fest in Hollywood.

Song Sung Blue will release in theatres on December 25.
