The past three meetings between these two have been drawn and we’re all-square at the break.
Blackburn’s Aynsley Pears was the busier of the two goalkeepers, denying Lewis Dobbin before doing brilliantly to keep out Michael Smith’s effort from close range.
But two goals in 80 seconds at the end of the half have left us catching our breath.
First Lewis Miller headed home Ryan Hedges’ corner only for Blackburn to fall asleep straight from the restart and allow Alfie Devine to drift into the box and slip in the leveller.
A more than acceptable opening 48 minutes as we welcome back Championship football after the international break.
