‘Bison Kaalamaadan’ on OTT: When and where to watch Mari Selvaraj-Dhruv Vikram’s sports drama

Bison Kaalamaadan, the hard-hitting sports drama directed by Mari Selvaraj, is set for its OTT release. Starring Dhruv Vikram, the Tamil movie is based on the life of former India kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan.
The movie, which hit the screens on October 17, 2025, tracks the inspiring journey of Ganesan, who beat social and caste oppression to play for India. Bison will premiere on Netflix on November 21, 2025.
The film also stars Rajisha Vijayan, Anupama Parameswaran, Lal and Ameer in prominent roles. Bison is produced by filmmaker Pa Ranjith and Aditi Anand under the banners Neelam Studios and Applause Entertainment respectively.

Nivas K Prasanna has composed the music for Bison while Ezhil Arasu K has done the cinematography. The Hindu review of the movie said, “There are very few filmmaking voices that make you stand up and applaud for posing such artistic prowess and conviction, and Mari is inarguably the most original of modern Tamil greats.“
