I’m A Celebrity has teased a camp romance as one star admitted, “I’ve got a soft spot”.
The hit ITV programme returned to screens last weekend, with ten new celebrities facing their fears in the Australian jungle.
The cast includes Ruby Wax, Martin Kemp, Kelly Brook, Aitch, Alex Scott, Angry Ginge, Shona McGarty, Jack Osbourne and Lisa Riley.
The group have settled into camp life rather harmoniously so far, but late arrivals Vogue Williams and Tom Read Wilson seem to have shaken things up as they were named Chief Explorers on Thursday (November 20).
They were given special privileges, including a plush Treehouse to sleep in, which was equipped with comfy beds, chairs and a tanoy. Vogue and Tom also had to assign chores to their fellow campmates.
However, the dynaamic shift didn’t go down well with some of the stars, as Jack admitted to feeling “resistance” to the newcomers. And it seems like that might not be the only change in dynamic, as a camp romance could be on the cards.
During Friday’s (November 21) episode, the campmates were on their best behaviour as they tried to win badges from Vogue and Tom.
Kelly told Vogue that she’d chosen not to have her morning jungle shower so she could nurse the rice, after being appointed camp chef.
Meanwhile, the others busied themselves by cleaning and sprucing up the camp to be in the running for a coveted badge that day, with Aitch collecting logs, whilst Shona and Jack took dunny duty in their stride.
Ginge and Aitch then decided to spend some time at the creek, with Aitch using the quiet moment to make an unexpected confession to his close friend.
“I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me,” he admitted.
Ginge replied: “I think she’s really nice, if that’s what you mean yeah.”
Aitch confirmed: “Yeah, that’s what I mean,” with Ginge agreeing: “Yeah she is.”
Could a camp romance blossom between Aitch and newly-single Shona? We’ll have to wait and see…
Elsewhere on tonight’s episode, Jack and Alex took on the latest Bushtucker trial, Dreaded Dunnies. Chief Explorers Vogue and Tom were also given the power to choose two more celebrities to join them in the trial. They ultimately picked Martin and Shona as they hadn’t done one yet.
