Rangers hunt for solutions to 11 player injury crisis as Danny Rohl throws out SOS to forgotten men

The Ibrox boss is facing a major headache as the league action restarts against Livingston

Rangers manager Danny Rohl

Rangers boss Danny Rohl has been plunged into an injury crisis – and will have to turn to his forgotten men against Livingston.

John Souttar and Derek Cornelius could be out until 2026 after picking up knocks – while in-form Tottenham loanee Mikey Moore has joined the duo on the sidelines.

Rohl has now drafted Emmanuel Fernandez and Clinton Nsiala back in from the cold. Fernandez has made just three appearances since his £3.25m arrival from Peterborough – while Nsiala has not has a run out all season.

Striker Youssef Chermiti is a doubt, as well as back-up keeper Liam Kelly – with youngster Bailey Rice also out.

Long-term injuries Dujon Sterling, Kieran Dowell and Rabbi Matondo are all on their way back to full fitness but won’t be risked this weekend.

Lyall Cameron has also been absent from recent squads, but isn’t injured and simply hasn’t been selected.

Rohl insists this shows he won’t compromise on his standards – but he would be forced into a major shake up at Ibrox.
