The Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 Draw is taking place in Sydney on Wednesday 3 December from 20:00 AEDT (GMT+11).
Below is some information about media access and opportunities around this important milestone on the journey to Australia 2027 and the biggest Rugby World Cup ever organised.
How can I watch the Draw live?
With the Draw taking place in a TV studio in Sydney, the Draw will only be available via broadcast on the following channels:
What opportunities are available for Sydney-based journalists?
Sydney-based media will have the opportunity to get reactions after the Draw from presenters such as World Rugby Chair Brett Robinson, Dan Carter, and James Slipper as well as Wallabies representatives. If you are interested in these opportunities, please email kirsty.johansen@australia.rwc.rugby. Due to space, we won’t be able to allow photographers inside the studio for the Draw itself but rights-free images will be made available via the Media Zone.
What opportunities are available for media worldwide?
Each participating team will organise its own media access with their Head Coach and Captain within 24 hours of the Draw results.
