Strictly Come Dancing fans think one couple are ‘sick’ of the comments they have been receiving during their time in the competition after spotting their ‘real’ reaction.
The BBC One dance contest continued on Saturday night (November 15), with the 2025 run of the competition reaching week eight.
And there was some extra pressure put upon the eight couples in the competition this weekend as only seven of them are able to make it through to next weekend’s annual Blackpool special, where they’ll perform in the famous Tower Ballroom.
Those who follow the hit dance show have been flooding Balvinder Sopal and her professional dance partner Julian Caillon after they performed an American smooth to My Guy by Mary Wells, which received a mixed response from the judges.
Anton Du Beke said Balvinder’s characterisation was “lovely” but Craig Revel Horwood said her frame was “occasionally a bit iffy”.
He also said: “You need to watch your recovering arm when you’re coming down from a lift. I would like to see a little bit more punch. But you know, you always dance with conviction and that’s what I love about you. You’re the most beautiful storyteller as well.”
The four judges awarded Balvinder and Julian 27 points out of a possible 40, leaving them joint bottom of the leaderboard alongside reality star Vicky Pattison and her dance partner Kai Widdrington.
But as Strictly fans rushed to defend Balvinder and Julian over what they believe is ‘undermarking’, others think they spotted the couple’s own disappointed reaction to their latest feedback.
