Drier weather returns to Las Vegas this weekend

Light showers continue to move through overnight into Saturday morning across Southern Nevada. We’ll lock back into a sunnier, drier pattern starting Sunday and continuing through Thanksgiving next week.
After a soggy week of weather, we’re not quite out of the woods just yet with rain chances around Southern Nevada. A low-pressure system to our south continues to spread in light showers overnight through Saturday morning. We’re expecting fewer showers for the afternoon and evening with high temperatures in the mid to low 60s.
For the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix on Saturday night, the weather is expected to be drier across the Las Vegas Valley, with temperatures in the upper 50s. The best chance for a lingering shower Saturday night will be focused south of the Las Vegas Valley.
Sunday brings more sunshine with high temperatures holding in the mid-60s. We’ll stay in this dry pattern through most of next week, with a fair amount of sun and highs in the mid-60s. With the drier air in place, the mornings will be chilly with lows in the 40s.
Our next rain chances return late next week for Thanksgiving weekend.
