SAVE Group becomes an Official Supporter of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of Milano Cortina 2026

Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 and SAVE Group, a leading entity in Italian airport management, proudly announce a new partnership. The inclusion of SAVE Group, which operates Venice Marco Polo Airport, Italy’s third intercontinental airport, further strengthens an already established collaborative relationship.

A global event with extraordinary numbers

The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games will welcome 2 million fans and over 3,500 athletes from more than 90 countries, along with federations, coaches, delegations, media, and broadcasters, all experiencing the unique excitement of this extraordinary global event. In this context, the collaboration between Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 and SAVE Group represents an important opportunity to jointly identify management solutions for the large anticipated flows, aimed at providing the best travel experience at Venice Airport during the Games.

An integrated airport system

SAVE Group will make its 178 daily flights at Venice available, including arrivals and departures, taking every necessary measure, such as managing the arrival of thousands of oversized pieces of luggage even in a single day.

These connections will be complemented by 46 daily flights at Treviso Airport and 48 at Verona Airport, also managed by SAVE Group, which, together with Venice, will welcome spectators attending the competitions scheduled at the Olympic and Paralympic Venues.

Through careful and coordinated management of the airports of Venice, Treviso, Verona, and Brescia, SAVE Group will ensure efficient flows, operational safety, and quality services, helping make every arrival the ideal prelude to a global event like Milano Cortina 2026.

The “port of entry” airport of the Games

Travellers from the Olympic and Paralympic family will also find a welcome defined by a true spirit of the Games, thanks to dedicated spaces and services within Venice Airport, designated as the “port of entry.”

Shared values and inclusiveness

The partnership confirms the shared values of sport, symbolically expressed by the Five Olympic Rings and the Paralympic Agitos displayed in the departures area of the airport on the initiative of the Veneto Region, recalling principles of inclusiveness that lie at the heart of the activity and role of the “Marco Polo” as a hub connecting with the world and serving its wide reference territory.
