Troubling Update For Josh Giddey Ahead Of Game Against Wizards

The Chicago Bulls enter their Saturday evening matchup with the Washington Wizards at 8-7 and hold the ninth spot in the East.

Meanwhile, the Wizards carry a 1-14 record and remain anchored to the bottom of the conference, unable to break out of their slump.

Bulls vs. Wizards Preview

The Chicago Bulls host the struggling Washington Wizards at the United Center on Saturday evening, with the Bulls entering as favorites.

The Bulls carry an 8-7 record heading into the matchup, including a strong 5-1 run at home. The Wizards arrive in rough shape, stuck in a 13-game skid, with seven straight losses on the road.

The Bulls have been scoring well, putting up about 120.7 points a night with efficient shooting. Chicago has eight different players averaging double figures, so there are a number of guys who can step up and contribute tonight.

Washington can’t match that output. They’re struggling to score, hitting only about 37 percent from deep, and their defense gives up close to 130 points per game.

Recent history tilts heavily toward Chicago, too. The Bulls have taken seven of the last ten meetings.

Given Washington’s injuries, poor form, and road problems, an upset feels unlikely. Chicago hasn’t been perfect, but their home comfort and more reliable play both point to them controlling the pace and coming out on top.
