It’s not unusual for Tom Wilson to get into a fight, and it’s not unusual for him to win those fights. But it’s not often you see another player get an instigator minor and a ten-minute misconduct for starting a fight with Tom Wilson (while also losing that fight).
For some reason, Lighting center Curtis Douglas did just that, late in the second period of Saturday’s game. Wilson got several punches in and brought Douglas to the ice.
