Las Vegas F1 Grand Prix LIVE: Max Verstappen snatches lead from Norris; Piastri begins chase

Lap 39: Unless a crash or calamity occurs, it looks like it’s Verstappen vs Lando Norris for the win today.

Verstappen has a five-second lead, however Norris has the pace.

Meanwhile, Oscar Piastri is gaining on Antonelli who so far, has driven superbly and conserved his tyres for 36 laps.

Piastri makes a lunge on the rookie, but the Italian manages to fend him off. Piastri needs to be careful, he’s got his eyes on Antonelli, but a sixth-placed Charles Leclerc can easily take advantage of any mistake the Australian makes.
