Marco Jansen goes beast mode, breaks bat twice while destroying Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah in 2nd Test
South Africa all-rounder Marco Jansen unleashed a brutal display of hitting on Day 2 (Sunday, November 22) of the second Test against India at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The right-handed batter broke his bat twice while smashing bowlers Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah in the first innings.
Team India ended South Africa’s 88-run stand for the seventh wicket in the second session of the ongoing match. Wicketkeeper batter Kyle Verreynne was stumped for 45 off 122 balls. His dismissal left the visiting team at 334 for 7. Following the breakthrough, Marco Jansen arrived at No. 9 to continue the innings.

Marco Jansen changed his bat after sending a delivery deep into the stands. Kuldeep Yadav bowled a full ball outside off, and Jansen opened up his front leg and launched it straight over long-on. With the ball still being returned from the crowd, play was halted for a moment.

Jansen cracked yet another bat, and Kagiso Rabada brought out new options for him. Before changing his bat, he cleared his front leg and hammered the ball straight past the umpire for a boundary.
