Uber passenger believed to be missing found safe in Nashville hotel

A woman who was reported missing after taking an Uber has been found safe in a Nashville hotel.

Metro Police were investigating after Tiffany Prevette Moore, 37, was reported missing by her family following an Uber ride in West Nashville on Sunday evening.

FOX 17 News previously reported Moore was last seen around 7:18 p.m. on Nov. 16 after being picked up by an Uber driver outside the Target on White Bridge Pike. Her husband, Scott Bach, tried to locate her at an apartment complex on Twin Oaks Drive based on her Uber ride details.

Moore’s sister told police it was unusual for her not to communicate, as they speak daily. Police searched the apartment building and checked local hospitals and jails but found no sign of Moore.

A one-time ping on Moore’s cell phone led officers to an address on Cross Creek Road, but she was not located there. Moore was entered into the National Crime Information Center as a missing person before she was found.

Metro Police confirmed to FOX 17 News that Moore was found Thursday morning in a hotel room unharmed, but released no further details.

Police have not confirmed whether the Uber driver has been interviewed, identified or associated with her disappearance.
