A man who had too much drink in him and was outside a bar in Mount Pearl got the attention of other patrons who were concerned that he was about to get into his car and drive off.
RNC arrived on the scene and, after some checking, found that the 35-year-old had seven outstanding warrants against him.
Officers say the man did not take kindly to the news and refused to go peacefully.
He now faces a new charge of resisting arrest as well as three breaches of court orders.
