Another Montrealer is a few million dollars richer after winning the Lotto 6/49 jackpot at the end of October.
Loto-Québec says Christopher Morris won $5 million through Lotto 6/49’s jackpot on Oct. 29.
“This is the eighth time that the Lotto 6/49 Classic Jackpot has been won in Québec since January. What incredible luck for Quebecers!” says Isabelle Jean, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Lottery Games at Loto-Québec.
Morris reportedly bought his ticket online through the Loto-Québec gaming website and found out he won the morning following the draw.
At the time, he thought he was dreaming and put his phone down, before checking again a few minutes later, and confirmed his win on his online gaming account.
He says he plans to invest his winnings in real estate.
