FERN Britton showcased her five-stone weight loss as she donned a chic velvet jacket – and admitted she was “obsessed” with her new look.
The TV presenter and former This Morning anchor has spoken openly about her changing shape and lifestyle overhaul – which has come without the assistance of fat jabs.

Celebrity Big Brother alum Fern, 68, instead started running and took “80 per cent of the sugar” out of her diet.
The mum of four also quit booze in her quest to lose weight naturally.
Now she has taken to her Instagram grid to upload a mirror selfie of her new blazer, which she paired with a white ruffle blouse and tan trousers which showed off her new figure.
She accessorised with a pair of black-rimmed glasses and pearl drop earrings.

In the caption, Fern wrote: “My lovely velvet jacket gifted from @busbyandfox.
“I’m obsessed with it.”
She added: “The perfect seasonal outfit. Xxxxx”
Fans were quick to react to her weight loss, and one wrote in the comments section: “You are looking absolutely amazing Fern.”
A second put: “You look wonderful in this x”
A third then added: “You get younger looking by the day.”
Earlier this month, Fern again revealed her slender shape as she posed in a pair of cycling shorts.

Fern previously told how she needed to “get my life back on track” following her split with TV chef husband Phil Vickery in 2020.
The pair decided to part ways after 20 year together.

After the huge change in her personal life, Fern switched the focus to her health.
The telly stalwart has revealed how she deliberately avoided using fat jabs, and attributed her five stone weight loss to cutting sugar, 6am gym classes and fitness running app couch to 5K.
“People often wonder when you’ve lost lots of weight whether you’ve done it naturally.
“And I can look at you and say, ‘Yes, I have’”, she told Woman&Home magazine.
She continued: “I had my shoulder replacement 18 months ago, and two-and-a-half years ago, when I saw the surgeon, he said, ‘I’m going to totally replace your shoulder, I’ll see you in a year.’

“I thought, ‘I need to get my life back on track. I need to stop smoking, stop drinking, get eating under control and stop lying in bed feeling sorry for myself’.
“So I started the Couch to 5k, took about 80 per cent of the sugar out of my life and started to think about what I was eating, which I had never done before.”
